We are flung headlong into the adventures of three twelve year olds, Josh, Tim and Siân, enjoying the start of their summer holidays in beautiful Pembrokeshire.
The storyline mainly revolves around the building of a flying machine. We are taken on a roller-coaster ride of adventures which includes the making of a film in Tenby and the mystery surrounding one of its stars.
The rewards of teamwork, the importance of trust in friendships and the use of laughter as a tonic all provide valuable lessons.
Whilst being swept along by the dramatic happenings we also learn about historical facts and scientific discoveries in a painless and enjoyable way. The style is easy to read and full of pace.
