Bwganod are mischievous, sometimes scary creatures who generally steer clear of humans and their threatening, polluted world of metals and plastic. Curious Tatibwgan and her brother Bwgandaio, whose friends include an elf, a leprechaun and a dwarf, have fun teasing the children of Mostyn Close and enjoy visiting housebound Gramps. By breaking the rules, they learn about school and about bullies and plan to use Mamibwgan's magic to liven up Gramps's hospital visit.
Unfortunately, they need more than magic when their baby brother is kidnapped and trapped in a metal box. Will they be clever and brave enough to save him? Are you brave enough to read Who's Afraid of the Bwgan Wood? to find out?
If you believe in magic, venture into the secret world of the Bwgan family as revealed in the winner of the Welsh Books Council's Tir na n-Og Award 1996.
